Oregon Scandinavian Midsummer Festival Astoria

Invoke your inner Viking spirit! Astoria Scandinavian Midsummer Festival has been a tradition on the North Coast of Oregon for over fifty years. The Festival takes place on the 3rd full weekend of June. The festival embodies the rich cultural heritage that was transplanted to the Astoria, Oregon region by emigrants from the Nordic lands. During the three days of the festival, over a dozen Nordic musical, dance, and theater groups will entertain. Retail booths will offer handcrafts, Nordic import items, and traditional Nordic foods — and Portland Daughters of Norway will be there to greet you with a “hei hei!” in the booths arena on Saturday.
